Long Island Wedding Officiant, LogoText Box: Seating
Text Box: The first decision you have to make regarding seating, is will there be open or side seating. If the number of guests for the bride and groom will be noticeably uneven, open seating is probably preferable. When utilizing side seating, as you walk into the area of the ceremony, the groom’s side is usually on the right, and the bride's side is usually on the left. The use of ushers (usually groomsmen) is suggested for side seating. If you decide that the Mother of the Bride will be escorted to her seat, it is usually done just before the Processional. If the Mother of the Groom is also escorted, she usually goes before the Mother of the Bride. If there is a Unity Candle, the mothers meet at the center and light their candles together.
